Amariyah Callender, lead journalist and editor for Rosery Radar, is a nineteen-year-old journalist from Decatur, Georgia. With a passion for writing and all things creative, Amariyah's journalism talents were cultivated through VOX ATL, a print and digital news platform created by and for teens based in Atlanta. There, she worked for five years as a staff member, facilitator, intern, and as a web editor for the 2018-2019 school year. She has the most experience in writing and creating content in the entertainment field, as she has frequented press screenings, attended live shows and performances, and has written various album reviews. She is currently a student at Kennesaw State University as a Journalism and Emerging Media major with a minor in African and African Diaspora Studies. She is also a writer for Her Campus, an online college women's news platform, a member of Impressions of Beauty, a nationwide beauty organization for college women, and Creating Our Own Legacy, a student-run entrepreneurship organization. She intends to work as an entertainment and culture writer at a major news platform upon graduation.
